The proposals also include plans for:

• The largest indoor water park in the UK alongside an indoor surf simulator
• An indoor bike and skate park
• An equestrian centre
• A survivor adventure park, aimed at families and for corporate team bonding, as well as an air park and zip line
• Log cabin and yurt accommodation
• Two new hotels, with spa and conference facilities, as well as retail and restaurant units
• An element of residential development
  An informal public consultation exercise with the local community will be launched next month, which will help shape a planning application and statutory public consultation next year.
