Wembley parking enforcement quashed under 10-year Lawful Development rule
Brent Council issued an enforcement notice to a local school near Wembley Stadium who were allowing people to park their cars (for a small fee) during matches and shows.
The Planning Inspectorate decided to allow the appeal and quashes the enforcement action allowing the school to continue to offer car parking during events at nearby Wembley Stadium. The applicant succeeded in persuading an inspector that the use had begun ten years and one month before the council issued an enforcement notice for an unauthorised change of use.
