Erection of an L-shape rear dormer roof extension to the main rear roof slope and to the outrigger roof slope, incorporating a juliet balcony; the installation of x2 rooflights to the front roof slope; and the erection of a ground floor single storey 'side and rear return' extension incorporating a lantern skylight.
4D Planning were instructed to advise the client on the feasibility of extending the single family dwelling to maximise the habitable space. We advised to apply for a large roof extension and loft conversion under PD (permitted development) and to apply for a single storey extension in the same application. Once approved we advised to apply separately for householder planning permission to infill the side, by applying for a side return extension. We were instructed to prepare the two applications and all architectural drawings. Southwark Council granted planning permission and a lawful development certificate for the proposed works. 4D Planning then produced the building regulations and tender pack for the builders and building control.
