4D Planning was contacted by the client to enquire about the possibility to erect a roof terrace at the rear of their property. We immediately researched the feasibility by looking at the property and the surrounding properties. We looked at the planning history and the local site constraints. We advised the client that subject to mitigating overlooking and a loss of privacy to neighbours, the proposal would have a high chance of success. We were then instructed to prepare the architectural drawings following a measured survey of the property. We prepared and submitted a planning application which was subsequently approved and granted planning permission by Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
