Change of use from residential (Use Class C3) to residential home with care (Use Class C2).

4D Planning advised the client on the feasibility of converting a large single dwelling in a residential area to a care home for children. We established that there would be a good chance of success.

4D Planning produced the floor plans, elevations and site plan and prepared the planning application documents. We submitted the planning application and liaised with the council and other stake holders. Trafford Council Planning Committee assessed the application due to 50+ local residents objecting to the scheme. We put forward a strong case and addressed all potential concerns. The application was unanimously granted planning permission by the committee members.

We were then instructed to discharge the planning conditions associated with the application including parking for 5 vehicles with disabled parking and a landscape design.
