Reconfiguration of internal layout including partial removal of timber/plasterboard walls, reinstatement of joinery items and decorative features including flooring, architrave mouldings, plasterwork and doors. Replacement of casement windows with single glazed timber sash windows facing courtyard.

4D Planning were instructed to assist a client with internal changes to a Grade II listed property. The flat was in need of decorating and the windows were old and required replacing. Our in-house heritage and conservation consultant advised the client on the changes that could and could not be made. We prepared the Listed Building Consent Application and all the architectural drawings. We also produced a detailed heritage and design report to address the listed features within the property and the impact the proposals would have on the works. We liaised with RBKC (Kensington and Chelsea Council) to ensure that all queries were addressed and that the application would be approved. The application was granted listed building consent and planning permission.
