Relocation of the existing stairwell from the front of the property to the rear for access to the first floor flat and increase in the floor space of the existing pharmacy on the ground floor.

 

4D Planning's role

4D Planning were approached by the client seeking assistance to relocate a staircase internally, to make the pharmacy shop on the ground floor larger. This would involve moving the stairs which are used to access the first floor flat to the rear of the property. We produced the architecture drawings, maps, statements, forms and liaised with the planning officers at Newham Council. The planning officer was very difficult and decided not to grant planning permission. We recommended to our client that an appeal would stand a good chance of success. 4D Planning prepared the appeal and liaised with the Planning Inspector. The appeal was successful and planning permission was approved.
