Use of ground and lower ground floor shop unit as mixed medical consultation and examination rooms at lower ground floor level and a retail pharmacy at the ground floor level (sui generis).
4D Planning advised the client on the feasibility of being granted planning permission for a change of use of the ancillary basement from A1 (pharmacy) to D1 medical. We advised following our intensive research that there was a need to supplement medical services to the local community and to assist the NHS with relieving some of the long waiting lists and ques at existing clinics. We produced the architectural drawings and planning documents and submitted the application to Westminster Council. The application was approved within 8 weeks. This proposal is one out of five medical centres and pharmacies that have been granted planning permission by 4D Planning.
