4D Planning were instructed to assist the client with obtaining planning approval for a large roof extension to increase the habitable space of the dwelling. We designed the extension to ensure that the internal layouts met the client's requirements but also met the planning guidelines. We submitted a lawful development application for the hip to gable roof extension, rear dormer and rooflights. The application was approved by Barnet Council.

4D Planning produced the Building Regulations drawings to demonstrate compliance. We submitted our drawings and the structural engineer's drawings and calculations to the Building Control Inspector and it was signed off and approved. The works were then carried out by a local builder.
