4D Planning's Role

4D Planning was instructed to prepare a design and architectural drawings for the development of the mid-terraced part commercial, part residential property. We worked closely with the developer to find a design that would provide a mixture of 3-bed, 2-bed and 1 bedroom flats to create a net increase of 4 flats in the property with outdoor amenity while retaining the basement and front of the ground floor as commercial. The design included a lift and large roof terrace with pergolas. We prepared the planning application documents and liaised with the Town Planners. We represented the client at the DPC and liaised with planning, building control, the fire officer and several environmental Consultants to achieve a desired outcome. The planning application was approved by the Planning Commission.
