4D Planning's Role

We were instructed to assist the client to block a neighbouring development from overlooking onto their balcony. Surprisingly, the DPC approved a high rise development adjacent to the site which included a window of a living room set away only 1 metre from the client's balcony, therefore causing a loss of privacy. We prepared the drawings and application for a high obscured fence to prevent overlooking. We represented the client at committee and persuaded the planners and committee members to support the application. Planning permission was approved.
