Planning Applications

Let us help you obtain planning permission for your development

We would usually arrange an initial consultation at your property to discuss the brief and your plans.

We will undertake a property site assessment by looking into the history and context of the site and its surroundings. We will assess the potential impact the proposal will have on the neighbours, the character of the property and surroundings. We research the Gibraltar local planning history portal to establish what applications have been proposed, accepted and refused in the past. We also research whether there are any site constraints, restricted planning policies which would undermine the proposed development.

Once we have established that the proposed development is feasible, we will offer a quote for our services.

Once 4D Planning is instructed, we will visit the property again to measure up. We will collect all the dimensions and other relevant data to assist with producing the architectural drawings to scale.

We will always discuss your ideas for the proposed scheme either on-site or once the existing scaled drawings are produced.

Once this is complete, the proposed architectural drawings are prepared and are forwarded to the client for approval. We will amend the drawings as required until the client is satisfied with the drawings. We will then draft the Planning Statement or Design and Access Statement and finalise the application for submission to Gibraltar's Town Planning (the famous DPC).

All our drawings and documents are produced digitally and submitted digitally online to the Town Planning and Building Control departments. We will then liaise with the Town Planners and Building Control Officers to ensure that the outcome is positive and without unexpected delays.
